-   CAMP STAFF APPLICATION FORM    -
Use this form to make application for seasonal camp employment opportunities in the Chief Seattle Council, Boy Scouts of America.  The Chief Seattle Council, in accordance with federal laws, provides equal opportunities to employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status.

Summer Camp Staff -
Camp Parsons hosts Scouts BSA resident camp programs.  The Cascade Scout Reservation (Camps Edward and Pigott) hosts both Scouts BSA and Cub Scout resident camp programs consecutively.  Staff are generally preferred to serve out the entire summer season on staff (usually 6-10 weeks).  Minimum ages for most positions are 16, 18, and 21 years of age.

Weekend Camps -
The Cascade Scout Reservation hosts Cub Scout weekend programs during the spring and fall such as Camp Halloween, Cub Day, and Parent & Pal at Camp Edward.  The reservation also hosts weekend activities at Camp Pigott such as Shooting Sports Weekend and Merit Badge Clinics.  Additionally, in the spring and fall, weekend renters have the option of choosing extra programming which the reservation provides staffing for.  Minimum ages for most positions are 16, 18, and 21 years of age.

High-Adventure Programs -
Camp Parsons and the Cascade Scout Reservation's Camp Pigott also host the Chief Seattle Council's high-adventure programming.  At Parsons, high adventure staff members specialize in leading expeditions such as hiking, canoeing, and/or kayaking.  Camp Pigott's Adventure Camp offers excursions such as mountain biking, natural-face climbing and rappelling, and white water rafting.  Staff for these programs are also part of the summer camp staff at their respective camps and may occasionally have other camp responsibilities.  Minimum ages are 18 or 21 years of age to staff, depending on level of responsibility.

Winter Camp Staff -
Camp Sheppard hosts weekend programs for Cub Scouts and Scouts BSA scouts from December through March each year.   Paid and volunteer staffing opportunities are available.  Paid positions require a full-season commitment.  Minimum ages for most positions are 16, 18, and 21 years of age depending on level of responsibility.

Counselor-in-Training / Commissioner / Volunteer Summer Camp Staff (unpaid positions) -
Scouts between the ages of 14 and 17 may apply for the opportunity to be trained as summer camp staff through the Counselor-in-Training program.  This involves volunteering one or more weeks to experience what it is like to work at a BSA summer camp.  Opportunities for individuals over the age of 18 to volunteer for all or part of the summer season (and Winter Camp) are also available.  Adults may apply to volunteer as commissioner, medic/physician, assistant ranger, chaplain, or any other spot they feel they could support the camp program.
